COMPOSICIÓN:
Flunixin (como meglumina) 50 mg
Excipientes c.s.p. 1 ml.
PROPIEDADES: Antiinflamatorio no esteroide (AINE) con actividad analgésica no narcótica y antipirética. Actúa bloqueando la biosíntesis al inhibir la enzima ciclooxigenasa.
Tiene acción directa sobre el SNC, disminuyendo el dolor y la inflamación.
INDICACIONES: Bovinos: Tratamiento de la inflamación aguda asociada a enfermedades del tracto respiratorio.
Equinos: Tratamiento de dolores viscerales asociados al cólico. Tratamiento de inflamaciones y dolores asociados a procesos músculo esqueléticos.
Porcinos: Tratamiento de la inflamación aguda asociada a artritis, mastitis y síndrome de MMA.
En todos aquellos casos en que esté contraindicada una terapia con corticoides.
ADMINISTRACION: Vía endovenosa o intramuscular
DOSIFICACIÓN Y MODO DE EMPLEO:Bovinos y porcinos: 1-2 ml cada 45 Kg. de peso.
Equinos: 1 ml cada 45Kg. de peso cada 24 horas preferentemente por vía endovenosa. Evitar la inyección intraarterial.
No exceder la dosis recomendada. Duración del tratamiento: equinos 5 días; bovinos y porcinos: 3 días. No mezclar con otras sustancias en la misma jeringa. La causa de la inflamación, del dolor y del cólico debe ser determinada y tratada paralelamente con la terapia adecuada.
CONTRAINDICACIONES: No administrar a yeguas gestantes, animales de menos de 3 días de vida o hipersensibles a este producto.
Conservar entre 5 y 25°C al abrigo de la luz solar directa y la humedad.

PROPERTIES: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with non-narcotic, antipyretic and analgesic activity. It acts by blocking the biosynthesis when inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzyme.
Its action falls directly on the CNS, reducing pain and inflammation.
INDICATIONS:
Bovine: Treatment of acute inflammation associated with respiratory track diseases.
Equine: Treatment of visceral pain associated with colic. Treatment of inflammation and pain, associated with musculoskeletal alterations.
Porcine: Treatment of the acute inflammation associated with arthritis, mastitis and MMA syndrome.
In all those cases where a corticoid therapy is contraindicated.
ADMINISTRATION: Via intravenous or intramuscular route.
DOSAGE AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Bovine and Pigs: 1-2 ml /45 kg weight.
Equine: 1 ml each 45kg live weight every24 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Length of the treatment: equine, 5 days; bovine and pigs, 3 days. Do not mix with other substances in the same syringe. Avoid intra-arterial injection in horses. The cause of the inflammation, pain and colic must be determined and treated concurrently with the indicated therapy.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not administer to pregnant mares, animals younger than three days of age, horses with history of hypersensitivity to Flunixin.
RESTRICTIONS OF USE: Meat: Bovine and Pigs: 21 days .Do not administer to horses that might be used for human food consumption. Do not administer to nursing dairy cows.
Store between 5 and 25°C, protected from direct sunlight exposure and humidity.
Keep out of the reach of children.
